Argus Partners Advises Syrma SGS Technology on its Joint Venture with Premier Energies to acquire KSolare Energy Private Limited
Argus Partners is pleased to announce that it has advised Syrma SGS Technology Limited (“Syrma SGS”), a leading Indian electronics systems design and manufacturing company, on its strategic joint venture with Premier Energies, an integrated solar energy company engaged in manufacturing photovoltaic cells and modules, to acquire KSolare Energy Private Limited, a Pune-based manufacturer of solar inverters, for a total consideration of INR 170 crore.
As part of the joint venture, Syrma SGS will hold a 49% stake, while Premier Energies will hold a 51% stake. The acquisition marks a strategic move to strengthen India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem, particularly in the growing residential and rooftop solar inverter segment.
This partnership aligns with India’s renewable energy initiatives, including the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, supporting the nation’s push for sustainable and self-reliant clean energy solutions.
