We are pleased to share that Argus Partners advised Syrma SGS Technology Limited, a leading Indian electronics systems design and manufacturing company, on its strategic joint venture with South Korea’s Shinhyup Electronics Limited involving a proposed investment of Rs. 1,800 crores.
The joint venture marks a significant step towards the establishment of India’s first multi-layer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Copper Clad Laminate (CCL) manufacturing facility, located at Naidupeta in Andhra Pradesh.
As part of the collaboration, Shinhyup Electronics will bring advanced technological expertise and marketing support, positioning the facility as a cornerstone in India’s high-end electronics manufacturing landscape. Once operational, the project is expected to play a transformative role in strengthening India’s domestic capability in critical electronic components, reducing import dependence and supporting indigenous innovation.
This development reinforces Syrma SGS’ leadership in India’s electronics ecosystem, aligning with the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
