Argus Partners Advises Jungle Ventures on its Series A Investment in Distil
We are pleased to announce that Argus Partners advised Singapore-based Jungle Ventures on its Series A investment in Distil, a specialty chemicals company. Distil has raised a cumulative USD 7.7 million as part of its Series A fundraise.
The funding round was led by Jungle Ventures. The round also saw participation from CE-Ventures, the corporate venture capital platform of Crescent Enterprises, and strategic investors with expertise in chemicals and manufacturing, including Rubamin, a Gujarat-based leader in metals refining, battery recycling and specialty chemicals, and Mayank Singhal, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of PI Industries, a leading agrochemicals company.
Distil plans to deploy the capital towards strengthening its research and development capabilities, enhancing procurement and technical sales functions, and establishing operations across the United States, the Middle East, and Africa.
The transaction was led by Vallishree Chandra (Partner), supported by Rohan Aneja (Senior Associate) and Kanishk Gambhir, Akshat Khanna (Associates). The due diligence team consisted of Anoushka Goel, Rohan Lodge and Vishakha Somani (Associates).
