ED probe may delay Byju’s fundraise plan
Our Senior Partner, R. Sudhinder, shares his views with The Financial Express on the impact of Enforcement Directorate`s investigation on BYJU'S fundraise plans.
Sudhinder noted that in such a scenario, there is always a chance of fund seizure and therefore, very convincing explanations are required to be given to satisfy the investors. Thus, according to him, “If a violation of laws is proved during the ED investigation then investors can definitely hold back committed funds under the clauses of a term sheet even if it’s binding,”
