Argus Partners advises commercial EV distribution and financing platform, ‘Turno’ in raising $13.8 million
Argus Partners has acted as the legal counsel to ‘Turno’ (Blubble Private Limited), a commercial electric vehicle distribution and financing platform, on its USD 13.8 million Series A fund-raise.
The Series A funding round was co-led by global venture capital firms B Capital and Quona Capital with participation from existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and Avaana Capital and new investors, Alteria Capital and InnoVen Capital.
Turno intends to use the funding to build a proprietary battery-tech platform to address issues around end-of-life battery value, amid global concerns around EV batteries and e-waste.
The transaction team for the fund-raise from B Capital, Quona Capital, Stellaris Venture Partners and Avaana Capital was led by Abhinav Bhalaik, Armaan Patkar (Partners), Mayank Jhunjhunwala (Senior Associate) and Reha Mehta, Ishita Agarwal (Associates).
The transaction team for the fund-raise from Alteria Capital and InnoVen Capital was led by Namitha Mathews (Partner), Anukriti Goswami (Associate) and Jalaj Mahajan (Associate).
