Nidhi’s primary practice areas are banking & finance, real estate and general corporate. She regularly advises banks, non-banking financial companies and funds on debt transactions, including construction finance, corporate loans, external commercial borrowings, issuance of non-convertible debentures and due diligences.
In the real estate sector, Nidhi has extensive experience in providing compliance-based advisory services to clients, especially in light of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA). She has also handled multiple transactions for townships and real estate projects, including real estate financing, joint ventures, joint developments, leases and RERA documentation.
Nidhi’s general corporate practice includes advising corporate houses on day-to-day matters. She has also been involved in various corporate transactions in the fields of power, turnkey projects, and logistics.
Nidhi graduated from Symbiosis Law School, Pune in the year 2008, and then went on to complete her L.L.M. (Master of Law) in International Finance Law from King’s College London. Nidhi started her legal career with Gagrats, Mumbai. Thereafter, she was a part of the international capital markets team at Rajani Associates, Mumbai, before joining the Firm in the year 2013.
