Murtaza's core area of practice is dispute resolution. In his extensive litigation experience, he has advised and represented some prominent corporations and individuals in the Supreme Court of India, Bombay High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal, Arbitral tribunals amongst other courts and tribunals. He has advised and represented clients in a variety of matters, from commercial and property related litigations to matters involving Constitutional Law issues.
He also has expertise in real estate matters including drafting and reviewing property related documents with a focus on advising and representing clients in matters relating to transfer of property and conveyancing.
Murtaza graduated from Government Law College, Mumbai, in 2009. He also holds a Masters in Business Laws (MBL) from the National Law School of India University. Prior to joining the Firm in February 2019, he was a part of HSA Advocates, ALMT Legal and Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe.
